What have I got here??

Mine is a '67 L79. These ignition shields came with the car, in a box. Are they for a '67 L79? How about the additional hardware? Also, the last picture is the "shield" that is on all four spark plug areas (two plugs per). AIM on page G171 shows similiar "shields".

The upper shields in the first picture are C3 shields, never used on a C2. The lower shields in the first picture look like left side rear shields used for C2 and C3.

The second picture looks like right side shields used for C2. However, they could also be left side C3 shields. I can't really tell from the photo.

Hi Lief,
The best article every done on the 1963-67 radio shielding was a 12 page article done by John Amgwert in the Restorer Mag. Vol12#4 Spring of 1986. It identifies all of the dfferences in the mid year shielding including the 5 different top covers.
