    58 Carb Air Filer Performance

    Hi NCRS Members!

For a 58 dual quad, which air filer would have the highest performance?

I bought K&N but the ends are thick so there is less material in between the ends for air to pass through.
The original setup, with thick wavy wire and foam, I think has more area for air to pass through to the carburetors.

    Thank you,
    Eric

Don't drink the Kool-Aid. Look at the following thread, and there are many more that say essentially the same thing.

A modern cellulose filter is your best protection, and they don't cost power or "dirt hone" the cylinder walls.
