    427 - 942 Block

    I have been told that for some very early built (Sept, 1965) '66 Corvettes that when building a 390 hp motor in Towanda that if a 2 bolt block was not immediately available a 4 bolt block would be used instead. Is that true? And if so, can it be verified?
