Texas Regional and the Texas Chapter

Well guys, I have to say that the Texas Chapter, The King brothers and everyone else did ANOTHER outstanding job at this year's Regional. Spectacular car, venue, friends and weather. Could not have asked for more. They worked real hard on this event, and their efforts showed. Show went smooth as silk. Some unreal cars to drool over and judge. I had the privilege of judging interior on 67's both days and the owners and cars were ALL stunning. If you guys haven't gone to this Regional, you must consider it for next year. It's all indoors, in a beautiful convention room. 15 minutes from DFW airport. Great burger joint across the street (). For the attendees, there were 2 survivor 67's and a Bowtie 67. What more can one ask for at a meet? This was my second year going, and you can bet I will be back next year. Thanks to Dave King, his brother, Tim Gilmore, Carl, Howard, and the rest of the Texas Chapter. It takes a LOT of effort and time to put on an event like this, and it showed. I think I speak for everyone else - we had a ball. Regards. ARA.

Ara, I really wanted to stop by and meet you there, but seems either you or I were too busy. Maybe the next regional.

        Ara,

Thank YOU for all your efforts, as well. The personal time and effort you and the others spent on not only my car but all the others present represent a true passion for the breed. The additional time that you spent with me personally going over my interior was above and beyond what I expected at my first judging. The generosity in regards to sharing of knowledge was second to none. As we say here in Texas "Y'all come back now, ya hear?"

Leif, Your enthusiasm and passion for the hobby is what I wish we had more of. You were energized, excited and eager. What a wonderful show you had to showcase your beautiful car. Owners like you make the hobby more enjoyable. Without owners like you bringing your cars out, there would be nothing for us to judge. So I appreciate the chance to judge a nice car like yours. I appreciate all the owners bringing their cars. You have a great car, and you should be proud of it. I had a ball going over your car, and all the other nice 67's. Please keep in touch and keep bringing your car out. We want to see more if it. My knowledge is only heightened by getting the opportunity to judge nice cars like yours. Dave King and the other Texas Chapter members did a bang up job again this year. As a good friend of mine from Beaumont, TX says, "keep 'er going".....ARA

Ara, thank you for judging the interior of my car. You have a wealth of knowledge and I enjoy visiting with you. I wish you could make it to our Saturday morning group in Austin. You'd have a blast.

Tim, you always present wonderful cars for judging. It makes a judge's job enjoyable, trust me. Always nice to see friends at the shows. I always say, I haven't been to a meet that I didn't learn something at. This show was no exception. Wonderful meet with great cars and great friends. can't ask for more than that! Nice seeing you, and I can say I would LOVE to make it to one of your Saturday morning meetings in Austin....I might not leave......ARA

This event was my first to actually attend as anything other than as a spectator. I learned a ton by attending the seminars, talking to the owners and judges. At first I thought being there Thursday through Saturday would mean a lot of dead time, but the time went by in a blur. Very well done guys, and my thanks to everyone from all over that came and shared. Look forward to the next one!

This was my first time to go to an NCRS event & I really enjoyed myself. I learned a lot! Thanks to the Texas Chapter for all of their hard work.
