I took Russ's advice and ordered one from Corvette Central. It is listed for a Tilt Tele which I have. Anyone know how to install it? Thanks, Ray

Re: ignition buzzer
I changed mine years ago (1970 no-tilt) by following the instructions in my Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual (which happens to be for 1969, since 1970 Corvette has a supplement to the 1969 manual). I found instructions for the alignment of the lock cylinder in an AIM, but those are not in the 1970-72 AIMs and I have not yet had a chance to look for them in the 1969 AIM.Terry- Top

Re: ignition buzzer
There is a big difference between a 1968 key buzzer and a 1969 key buzzer switch. The 1968 Vette has the ignition lock cylinder and switch built into the instrument cluster. Since the T&T column started to be available the 1969 model year, I am pretty sure we are talking about 1969 (although there are two years 68-69 listed in the title of this thread.)
The 1969 and later Vettes have the key buzzer switch built into the steering column head. Also for 1969 and later, the switch is different between a standard (non-adjustable) steering column and a T&T column.
Instructions can be found on replacing the switch in a T&T column in this paper and pic.
