Re: Opinions Please on this tank sticker
Even though I have never actually seen an original fuel tank sticker from a 1967 it appears to be original based on your very tiny photo. Could you scan the sticker and post a larger image so that it readable?

Robert, Is this an early VIN# car? Gene, that is the correct nomenclature for headrests.- Top

Re: Opinions Please on this tank sticker
Your tank sticker is in much better condition than the one that was on my '67 Coupe. In fact, most of my tank sticker had deteriorated, and only small portions remained attached to the tank, much less readable. Additionally, the paper had discolored significantly, and was dark brown in color. Finally, the sticker was so fragile, that the tank was removed from the car; and the remaining sticker covered with plastic, and the whole mess now sits in the garage. While I do not know where my car spent most of its life; I do know the last title was issued in Michigan in 2004. Perhaps your car spent its life in a more forgiving environment. For what its worth...

Re: Opinions Please on this tank sticker
I don't know, as this option (head rests) is not very common.
The bench seat headrest sounds weird, but could possibly be the description GM used.
I hope someone has this knowledge to share with us.- Top

Re: Opinions Please on this tank sticker
My May 67 convertible is a base-motor, headrests, smog, vinyl hardtop, telescoping column, speed minder car. The original sticker was on the tank. The tank sticker was still on the tank, and because it was a California car for much of its life (and parked from 79-2008 indoors) the sticker was very readable. It describes the headrests in exactly the same way.- Top

Re: Opinions Please on this tank sticker
A82 is correct headrest option, if I can find my copy of my tank sticker I will see if it has "bench seat" on it. Mine is late may car.Michael
