I really appreciate the insight that I have been getting on this forum. I have a 1963 SWC and it is an early model. This is my first Corvette restoration and I bought a Gold Certified car, but it was certified about 10 years ago and needs to refreshing up. I have replaced almost the entire cooling system from the expansion tank to the radiator as well as all the hoses. I really want to put this car back together to NCRS standards. I have bought every book that I can find from NCRS and they each have bits and pieces of pictures of how all of the hoses mount.
I am still a little confused on the exact routing and placement of several of the hoses and exactly where the retainers go. Is there any resource that would have detailed pictures on the exactly how everything should look? Again, I have pieces from all of the available books, but not the entire system with focused pictures.
I just want to make sure that I put the car back exactly the way it came from the factory. Any information that you can provide would be extremely helpful.
Thank you for your time!
