Is there an award offered for highest mileage driven to an NCRS National with a non judged Corvette in the Road Tour?

Re: Refresh My Memory
Joe,
I think Scott gave you the wrong answer.
According to the Judging Reference Manual, 8th addition, page 37, the Long Distance Driven Award Ribbon is presented at Chapter, Regional, and National Event to an owner of a registered car, "judged or not", which has been driven the furthest distance to the meet by the owner or a family member.
Same thing for the Long Distance Trailered i.e. judged or not.
Now the Sam Folz Memorial Award is for the Longest Distance judged car which makes Top Flight at a National Event.
This is out of the 8th Edition which I think is current???
Best wishes, ScottJerry Fuccillo

Re: Refresh My Memory
Joe,
One thing that needs to be pointed out is...that both Longest Driven and Longest Trailered Award Ribbons are limited to those model years currently judged by NCRS. This is stated on page 37 noted 9. & 10. of the latest, 8th Edition of the Corvette Judging Reference Manual.

Re: Refresh My Memory
Thanks for pointing out the location in the JRM.
Yes, that's what I was looking for as I plan on driving the '65 to Denver next year.
Hope I don't have to drive around the block a few thousand times to be competitive.
Thanks to all who responded here.
Jerry, the navigator/backup driver seat's open for you, as usual.- Top

Re: Refresh My Memory
Joe,
That's what I thought you were planning
Maybe think about going to Denver from NJ via California.
I'll be on the California Road tour with my 67.
I'll drag you, if we start a 60 mph. You'll be sweating in the 65, but I'll be cool as a cucumber in my Vintage Air 67.
Best Regards,Jerry Fuccillo

Glad to hear your taking your '67 on another RT.
I don't need no stinkin' air cundt-ditioner. And I'll spot you 5 car lengths....start from whatever speed you like. The beast will prolly do 200 easily, but at that speed I'd be buzzing people in the neighborhood.- Top

Cautionary note to the moderators und uzzer maintainers of korrekt-ness here: I am a good friend of Dan's, so realize that I'm able to call him names and otherwise castigate him here. After all, it's all in fun, and this is a "hobby".............aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhah ahahahahahahahaha
Hey Dan, you're a fart smeller for pointing that out. And without the help of any tomatoes!
Which car you takin' next year? Be sure to make Mary nice and comfy.- Top

Re: Refresh My Memory
Dan,
Ha, ha
If we see any adorable babies in their strollers, just make sure you stay downwind of them, and us.
There are only a few people who remember the true culprit of our tour of the Jefferson Gardens.
So where's the tomatoes.Jerry Fuccillo
