1969 fan shroud extension

I've searched old threads and can't find what I am looking for. Does anyone know the part number for the lower fan shroud extension for a 1969 350/350 with copper radiator? The car has a 3956109 fan shroud that appears to be original, but the lower extension is missing. From what I can find, 3974014 is the part number for a BB lower fan shroud extension; was it also used on small blocks?

The part number was GM #3956118. However, it may have been installed only on cars with A/C. Your car may never have had the extension installed.

I have a 69 L46, no air conditioning and copper radiator. Has there been any conclusion about whether these came with a shroud extension or not? My car does not currently have an extension. The main shroud does have the clips installed to accept an extension, but there is no indication they have ever been used. Of course, I don't want to buy a shroud extension if I don't have to so I can comply with the judging criteria. Any opinions?

Every original 350-350 car I have seen has that extension installed.
