A few years back I purchased an FI package that included this S-Tube. Its not a fiberglass reproduction, it is steel. It has very fine craftsmanship and a nice TIG weld seam. Anyone have any ideas what the origins of this part could be? Thanks for any help.Mike

can u post a close-up of the area where the seam is spot welded? from your photos, which aren't detailed enough to evaluate the seam, i'd guess its an early repo. they were available from several of the FI rebuilders in the 80's. mike- Top

It appears to have an oval shaped flat spot. I have a wide screen TV as my monitor. I don't see any wrinkles or crinkles in the s-tube.
Michael it appears to be a Jack Podel repro. One of his original ones but on the other hand we better wait until you get more pics. John- Top

Yes it does have an oval shaped flat spot. I have installed this S-tube on my '63 project, so this is the best pic I can get of the weld seam. Sorry....not the best.Attached Files- Top
