    69 Driveshaft part numbers

On my 69 (427, 4-speed, M-21) driveshaft I noticed the this number 3952197 on the two forged forks. Is this the correct part number for the driveshaft or is this just a forging number? I'm confused as the stencil kit from Quanta gives 3957056 as the part number for the driveshaft. Thanks Wes

My parts book shows part number 3963852 for 63 to 70 manual trans.
The other two numbers don't show up in GM Parts Wiki.

      Wes-------

The raised numbers on the yokes are the forging numbers for the yokes. They are not the part number for the driveshaft.

The driveshaft was supplied to PRODUCTION as an assembly with the u-joints and forward transmission yoke. The part number for this assembly (which, incidentally, was never available in SERVICE) for your application was GM #3957056 and that was the number stenciled on the driveshaft.
