    Steering stablizer...

People, I am helping a friend get ready to PV in Frisco next week. We are working on a 1966 390 horse car without power steering. Did this car come from the factory with or without a steering stabilizer? The new guiding manual is not clear on this point. Thanks! Bill

    Bill------

No steering stabilizer on big block cars, L-36 or otherwise. However, the 63-67 steering relay rod ("center link") is the same as small blocks which did have the stabilizer, so there are unused "holes".

Joe, Thanks for the info. We will leave the stabilizer off. Bill
