    ECL Tank Sticker Question

One of the options on my 1967 tank sticker is N89AA. I know this is for the Kelsey Hayes aluminum bolt on wheels. Curiously the description next to the ECL code just says 15 inch wheels. Is this all that was listed for this or was a full description printed?

My car has the original tank sticker and all five bolt-ons; the sum total of this on the sticker is, under option code, "02N89AA" and then in the Type column, under "Comfort & Con." it states: "15 INCH WHEEL EQ" there is no other description.

Thanks Donald, that is exactly what mine says. I wonder if my car was bought by a big wig at GM. The dealer was Dawson Taylor in Detroit. The car is a Goodwood Green L71 Coupe with PS, PB, PW, tinted glass, telescopic steering, side exhaust, am-fm, leather, headrests, shoulder harnesses and aluminum bolt on wheels.

Thanks Steve! Looked a long time to find this one and had to sell my '66 but was worth it

I need the screwdriver, also. It's rarer than the wheels.

Yes, and it is still with the car after all this time. I have it stored in my basement

Donald, the screw driver is near impossible to find. I would just like to find an original set of bolt on wheels that I don't have to mortgage my house for!

My friend has a 1967 L71 coupe that he has owned since 1980. He removed the tank sticker from the tank 30 years ago. His ECL code says 02L71AA for the motor, but the description says 425 HP Turbojet. Did the General make typos like this?

Yes, it is an early car. Body build date is 12-9-66. The tank sticker shows a received date of 7-19-66 and an expected production date of 9-30-66.
