    '58 FI air cleaner

Just learned an exciting detail about early '58 FI air cleaners. Most think that all '58 to early '62 FI air cleaners were created equal in all aspects. But Tim Mickey showed me and taught me otherwise.
This is a test to see who knows the answer. No fairs calling Tim please. JD

Since 40 of you looked in but no replies I will tell you what the difference.

The wing nut is not welded onto the long threaded stud. It just screws on. Later '58 to 62's have the wing nut welded onto the stud. (for those of you that are not familiar with the part)
As far as time frame goes on the '58's on this detail I have no idea. You gurus can take it from here. John
