    63 FI engine head bolts

What are the original head markings on a 63 ? And should I be concerned with the judging of the head bolts. ?

Bob, head bolts are generally blocked by exhaust manifold and v/covers. the JM has some of the important ones I.E.- intake bolts, dist. hold down bolt and retainer, alternator bolts, valve cover, make sure that the Thermostat does not have lock washers under the nuts.

Typical 63 head bolt markings would be AP, F, TR, M, C, CP. there are 8 bolts visible per side (the short outer bolts) Those would be the ones to look for. Rich.
