Yes that's happened to me too and others as well. Very frustrating. Quite often if I do a long post(ask anybody around here, way too often...), I save it away in a Word Doc "just in case".

The 1956 Corvette supplied to Dick Thompson was returned to Engineering from California for repairs. Then it was sent to the next Race. This happened multiple times. I have the Race location detail and the dates, just not at my fingertips whiles making this post.

+1. It is difficult enough to track history without guesses or suppositions being stated in such a way that imply they are established facts. Nothing wrong with anyone putting forth their opinions or questions, but they should clearly recognizable as such.

Loren, no guessing here. I have the documents that detail the cars back and forth to Engineering between races and the detailed repairs prior to shipping to the next Race. Also have the VIN. Joe
