Can anyone post pictures of the rear interior area in the corners as to how the carpet should be. What I am looking for is how the carpet fits around the vertical supports for rear deck lid and how the flaps on the rear bulkhead should be. The carpet in the car now is non original and not right so I don't have much to go by. Did a search but not come up with any pictures. For me a few pictures should be worth a thousand words Thanks

Re: 67 Convertible Rear Carpet
Edward, Welcome to the place here, I see it's your first post..
I had the same issue on a '67 a few years ago. I got some photos from someone here which had original carpet. I cannot find those photos but I used them as a guide below. I installed those sections the same way. The trouble was getting the carpet glue to stick on the backside(inside) of the supports. As you can see I had to clamp them together until the glue dried.

Ed,
Here are several pics from an original-carpet saddle interior car. Hope they are helpful.

Re: 67 Convertible Rear Carpet
Thanks for the pictures they are very helpful. I now see why I was having trouble in this area. The carpet set I go from ACC is quite a bit different in this area. The rest of it seemed to fit pretty well though. Rich for future reference where did your set come from, looks nicer and more finished than what I have. Thanks again. Ed- Top

Re: 67 Convertible Rear Carpet
Ed,
I did much research then, and got color samples for Dark Teal Blue. Al Knoch had the best color match and best appearance to original, including those rear corners in the photos. Not exactly original, as the edge beading was a different appearance and it was a tad too short behind the seats on the division panel to the sides, but overall was the best of all I compared to.
