    C2 A/C knob backlights

On either side of the center A/C vent there is a knob. One is to turn on the A/C and the other is to turn on the heat. I can in the 64 wiring diagram that a separate harness was used to add backlights to those two switches. One end plugged into the fuse box (acc lights) the other end had bulbs.

I'm just looking to confirm that 63's with A/C did not have those backlights?

    Harry -

That harness and "torpedo" lamps DO NOT show in the '63 A.I.M., and they DO SHOW in the '64 A.I.M.

John, Thanks. I did not see it in the 63 AIM, but I don't have a 64 AIM. The reason I asked the question is that there is no reference to A/C in the 63 Owners Manual. Apparently it was a printed card that was inserted into the Owners Manual. So the lack of written information from GM allows for lots of questions to be asked....
