    Hi Gary,
I believe one (maybe the only one left?) was on display at the National Convention in St.Louis in July of 2008
At that time it was owned by member Danny Reed.
He might well still own it.
    Regards,
    Alan

I've always though the dealer added black paint was a rather odd design… and didn't add anything to the cars' appearance.

I believe Danny Reed still owns it, he lives in Austin Texas, and I believe he knows the other two serial numbers as well. Here is the number for his car, and since it was posted on the web, I don't think I am violating any privacy rules. 194379S704987.

Does anyone have his email address? I cant seem to locate one. I see an advertising agency, but there is no website.

          Hi Gary,
Since his name is on the Members List, and he has a Profile Page, I'd think you can send him an E-Mail that he'll receive even though you can't see his address.
          Have you tried that?
          Regards,
          Alan

I did send an email through the forum, but I dont think it is the same guy as it lists Ohio, not Texas.

              Hi Garry,
I didn't look closely enough to see that. I was so excited to see the name!
              I'm sorry!

Gary -- Ever thought of trying Bill Mock ? He seems to keep tabs on all the "milestone" (his term) Corvettes; Currently offers Neil Armstrong's '67 [Driveline {#219} page 80].

From what I understand, Danny has searched for the other two Corvettes and has had no luck. I don't believe he wants to reveal the VIN's.

I think he would charge $12,942.13 per minute with a 10 minute minimum.

And if either Danny or Bill had the three numbers, they would give them to you because of your life long friendship, but you'd want the #s by Private Message, not out here on the Board, right?

I don't actually need the number, I just want to know that someone can confirm it.

I was making a joke with the dollar and cents...see the listing prices used in the driveline.

Can't say about VINs, but this was Alan Shepard's '68. It was hosted at Kennedy in the Saturn V facility last time I was there. For interest...
