    Top flight presentation

I'm getting ready to do a local top flight judging (first time) with my 65 coupe, I read somwhere that it's o.k. to have the spare down and fire extinguisher out of car at time of judging?
Reason I'm asking is I need to be careful on when/how to use my lower back don't won't to feel rushed day of show would much rather have this done and just be able to assist with little things if needed ?
    Thanks for the input

Charles, yes lower the spare and remove the top ignition shield, fire ext. can be removed and place outside, and if you have the NCRS sticker you will receive the extra 10 points. always good to get there early and recheck the operations of everything , lights can be a big problem sometimes.

        Another handy shortcut:

FWIW: When I went to Galena this year with a C3 I knew they would be judging "Operations" before the "Interior" judges got there. I added
all the tags (Radio and Vacum controls) and etc. (different tags needed for different years) after the Operations judges where done. It is much easy to operate all the
controls w/o the tags getting in the way. Larry

          Charles -

Get on the keyboard and order the 8th Edition, Corvette Judging Reference Manual from the NCRS Shop (top blue band on the page); it explains everything there is to know about the judging system, including an "owner's advisory" section for owners having their car judged for the first time so you'll know what to expect and how to prepare the car. It should be a mandatory purchase with every Judging Guide.

Charles, You can have a friend, another member, etc do the physical things for you. The owner just must be present. I hope this helps, good luck, Don H.
