    66 Wheel Cover Question

I just got some 66 wheel covers and the center emblems are a little too loose for my comfort. I suppose the emblems are brand new and the three rivets no longer hold the emblem in place. Instead the seller tried to glue them in place. Is there a preferred or reliable method to attach new center emblems? Epoxy on the rivet studs? Drill out the pot metal and screw them on?

I used epoxy. I don't know if that's preferred, but it has worked for 10,000 miles or so.
