C 2 Antenna -1966

My original is not black and is covered in wax. perhaps has this one been rebuilt? Check crane corvette on ebay for picture of an original.

Here is an original that has been restored by Greg Thompson. IMG_0306.JPGYour picture does not show the mast to confirm if it's an original. I would highly recommend Greg for rebuilding. Here is his web site. http://c2powerantenna.com/id4.html

Thanks everyone. The tip is the same as shown on Greg Thompson's site. I will get it rebuilt and keep the car original!

Was your car undercoated at some point? If so that would explain the "black tar".

When they did the resto, they "undercoated" it.
