The Science Channel is starting a new series of "How Its Made: Dream Cars". The third show in the series will be about the Corvette, and will air later this week. These are probably reruns, but I haven't seen them before.
For those not familiar with the show, the "How Its Made" program takes you into the manufacturing process for certain items, usually three per 30 minute show. The "Dream Cars" episodes focus on one make for each show, and concentrate on supercars such as the Lamborgini Aventador, the Pagani Huayra, and the Porsche 918, as well as other hand made cars like Rolls Royce, Shelby Cobra, and the Morgan Three Wheeler. The programs are notorious for leaving out parts of the process, probably for filming considerations, but I still find it interesting.
It's nice to know that the Corvette is getting some respect as a supercar.
