    Tire size

    I have a 62 stock vette, what is the largest tire size i can put on the rear without any porblems?

      I put 215x70x15 on my 59 but they are a little too large for the std 5" rim. I know a a few guys using 6" rally wheels or 60"s station wagon rims which were 6" and clear easily

          I run 245x60x15 on 7 inch rally rims on my 62. Go here http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp and you can see how different size tires fit on different rims. Are you looking for the widest or the tallest or what? Remember any difference in height will throw the speedo off
