Hello. I was thinking of making up a reproduction window sticker for my 1980 Corvette to display at car shows. How would I even go about doing it? I can buy the repro window sticker but how to I display (list) the details? What about my options and pricing? I don't have my build sheet so that won't work. Is there a guide or book I could go by? Would I have to type it out on an old typewriter? I'm sure a lot of you guy's have done this for NCRS shows. Don

Re: 1980 Corvette Window Sticker
Don,
When you buy the sticker from AAA Enterprises they print all of the information on the sticker for you. All you have to do is tell them the options currently on your car as well as the selling dealer.
If you don't know the selling dealer you can either check with the NCRS Shipping Report, or make it up.
I would not consider wasting time on making my own, ever.

A photo copy (from microfilm) shipping document for 1977 and forward Corvettes is available from the GM Archives at:
GM Heritage Archive is GM's global repository of historical photography, motion picture film, video, digital media, and vehicle documentation.
The shipper document shows shipping date, dealer, RPO codes (options), etc, specific to your VIN. It is available for $50. Years ago they were gratis, but times change. From this data you can have a reproduction window sticker produced from a number of sources.
You can also obtain (for free this time) a PDF download of the GM Vehicle Information Kit. The kit contains RPO information, dealer salesman brochures, manufacturer vehicle descriptions, etc. For Corvette, this generic information is currently available for 1953-2006.
GM Heritage is committed to preserving the rich history of General Motors brands while providing a foundation for continued innovation into the future.
Hope this helps
