    63 rocker arm stud ?

I am installing the rocker arm studs with push rod guides on my 63 327 FI rebuild. what are if any torque specs. I was told to use red thread lock ?

Rocker arm stud torque is 50 lb/ft using stock small block rocker studs (i.e. like those used on 70-81 SHP with 7/16-14 into-the-head threads).

I would not use the high strength (red) thread locker. I'd use the medium strength BLUE threadlocker.

By the way, you need to make sure there is no bind created on the pushrods between the guide plates and the guide holes in the heads.
