Re: Lack of restoration articles is a technical discussion

The job the guys working on the Restorer are doing a great job. It is not easy to come up with new and interesting ideas and articles that most members will find interesting.

From all the reading I have done on the matter, it sounds like we have a large number of member who have never worked on a publication like this or of any kind for that matter.

There are certain things I would like to see in the restorer. For that means writing an e-mail to suggest certain topics. This at least gives them an idea of what we as readers might be looking for. I myself have an article in rough draft that a few friends suggested I write for the restorer. If it turns out fair, I will submit it for possible publication.

I feel this is just doing my part as a member. Any of you that do not like what you are reading, send in suggestions. Write an article, or better yet, just try to understand how much work goes into a publication like the Restorer.

We are very luck to have the Restorer. As a group, let's try to show all the people who work on it much appreciation for taking the time and see if there is anything we can do to make it better instead of finding things that are falling a bit shot. In your opinion.

Vinnie, keep up the good work. I just enjoy the reading part of the magazine. I am really glad you are there to help provide that to us.

Thank again to all who contribute to the Restorer,

    Monte

      This thread was locked.
Now it's re-opened by TASS because of a nice-ey nice post.
Doesn't surprise me in the least.
NCRS needs all the help it can get going forward.
