67 400 air car battery door

Does anyone have a picture of the rivets that secure the T nuts to the battery door. I need to replace he missing rivets on my door and don't have an idea as to which side the heads are and what they looked like after bucking.

    Thanks

Steve -- here's a shot of the top corner of the battery panel on my late 396 (also a driver side battery). I may have more shots (notice the countersink).

Thanks. It looks like the rivet head (thus the countersink) is on the engine side of the panel.

Steve --- I'm trying to post more pictures of this battery panel from my Photobucket account, but the NCRS site gives me an error 403 message that access denied when I get to more than a few. Maybe I'm allowed only a certain size or byte total. Anyway, notice the liberal amount of undercoating; may be that they did away with the rivets and stuck the special nuts into the "goo". Notice the outboard middle hole that I cleaned to expose the fiberglass. The hole in the battery panel did not align with the same in the inner fender panel. Loren Lundberg who has a late air car 3 VINs earlier than mine reports the same mismatch (IIRC). I'll try again later for more pics.

Yes, I have seen many examples of no rivets.

Thanks, Wayne w. --- Thanks for posting. And here's the last two of that series off my late '65. (hope I don't get the error message again) . Notice the patch (a previous owner) put over the opening caused by large tires rubbing on a left turn.
