    Gm restoration check valve

Has anybody had any experience recently with the gm restoration vacuum check valves for 68 - 82. I have purchased 3 new ones now and when I hook my Mityvac to the dual nipple side of the valve and plug the adjacent nipple air passes from the single nipple side of the valve - no vacuum building. The Mityvac is does build and hold vacuum. When I do the same test by just sucking one of two I can not get air to pass from the single side. Am I missing something?

I don't believe it matters from one to the other on the"2" nipple side. Just that you can blow through the two nipple side to the single. Or pull a vacuum from either of the nipples on the 2 nipple side, while blocking off the other two (the remaining nipple on 2 nipple side and the nipple on the single nipple side) .Is that making sense? Yikes, lot easier to show then describe!
