    Center gauge cluster

I am reassembling my center gauge cluster and in my seal kit is a thin grey foam gasket. Does this seal belong between the bezel and lens? Does this take place of the 6 anti- rattle cushions located on the underside of the bezel or is it to be used in conjunction? If it is to be used in conjunction, this seems odd as it rests on the perimeter cushions. I don't recall seeing this seal during disassembly, but its been awhile. Any info would be appreciated.

    Re: Center gauge cluster

Steve I just replaced the ammeter three nights ago in my 1968 and this was the first time in my 68's gauge panel had been apart. I remember the 6 anti-rattle cushions when I removed/lifted the gauge lens to clean it. I do not remember seeing a thin grey or any other color foam gasket under the lens.
