    1954 car lifts

Has anyone purchaed a Kwik-Lift and if so are you happy with it. I have limited head room and I was looking at this one. Seems reasonable. Thanks

Guy, I have had one. LOVED it. Did a ton of work on my cars with it. Allows you great access to the underside and allows for a comfortable work height for interior and engine work. Given limited overhead space this is a great tool.

Thanks Henry for chiming in. Thats good to know since its not exactly cheap. Looks to be plenty strong and easy to use. I like the portability. Thanks again

        Re: 1954 car lifts

I still have one. Rebuilt both suspensions using it. The only downside I have with it is I wish there was a slot to lower the front in the ramp position. By that I mean when you have the car parked on it with the front in the up position and the back on the ground, the angle is more than I like to leave the car parked. If you could drop the front half way down, it would be perfect for me. When I discussed this with their rep, his answer was "just put the front down all the way and the car sits level" this is true but for one old person like me this is easier said then done. Other than that I have used it for 7 years and love it. Drop me a line if you have anymore questions

Thanks for the reply Terry. Thats interesting, I can see your point about leaving the car in an extreme angle like that. Makes total sence to me. I appreciate your point of view! You woud think that they might consider that as a nice feature.
