63 spare tire carrier lid rear support bolts question

I noticed that 63 JM has changed the style of the rear bolts depending on the VIN and now wonder about mine which are the ones with the welded nuts, This design the JM says til about VIN 6700. and then went to a shouldered bolt about 9" long?? Is this now correct???? I have seen another car with a VIN that is within a hundred numbers of mine with the welded nut and for sure these bolts were never removed. rusted solid. Thanks for your input.

Ed; I see you did not get an answer. I have a very early '63 and have the first design rear bolts.
If you look in Nolands book page 108, you will see three versions of the bolts.
If you are getting your car judged, I would go by the 63 JM. The judges do look at these bolts.
      I hope that hepls you.
