The latest 67 judging guide calls for the the tub to be secured to the frame by four 1/2" recessed hex-head bolts with separate flat washers. Known head marks are E & EL.

I believe "D" was another head marking used as well and I've seen both NF and NC thread on these bolts. I'm not sure about this, but was the flat washer used plated?????

Kurt, the " D " head marking bolts I have are 5/16 - 24. The flat washer used matches the head of the bolt.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Does anyone know if RBW was a possibility? Thanks again, Ed

RBW (Russell, Birdsall, and Ward) was a fastener supplier to GM during the period. It's very possible they also supplied these screws to the GM for use in this application.
