    1970 Turn Signals

Simply put they don't blink left or right but all the lamps are on. When I apply the brake pedal both directional lights light up simultaneously in the gauge. All pigtails are firmly seated. Fuses intact. They worked fine when I last drove it a few months ago. Turn signal canceling cam?

    Thanks,

Well, DOH! The emergency blinker was pushed in. How or why, I don't know.

How I discovered it being the emergency flasher was I didn't cover that in the check list so I went back into the garage and pulled it out and the left blinker started. Amazing.....they all work now.

Abilene! Yes! Born in Stamford. Lived in Noodle, Merkel, Bronte, Rule, and graduated from high school in Stamford in 1966. Parents were in the oilfield business (Humble/Exxon). When I was in high school in Stamford we often went to Abilene to party. I currently reside in Arlington but also have farm property in Throckmorton County.

The '70 is an LS-5 convertible with both tops, PS, PB, T/T, AC, PO2s, auto, shoulder harnesses.

        Yours?

          Scott,
That is what I was going to recommend checking. Guess where I got the idea? At least it was an easy fix.

Hey, Monte! How goes it? Great hearing from you. Imagine how relieved I was because I am leaving early in the morning for a car show.

Nice Corvette lot. About five years ago at a local swap meet I met a guy from Abilene that owned a '67 427 convertible that needed restoration. I don't recall his name but he was friends with a couple of Corvette friends of mine here, the Dupler brothers.

What is the status of your LT-1

You and I already met. You were with Phil and Roger Dupler at a swap meet in Fort Worth. Roger is currently doing a frame off restoration on his '72. Original frame rusted out. I visited with them last week at Phil's house and garage. They are doing a great job.
