Cold Start good/ hot start bad.

Have a 66 roadster 327/300 with Holley quad. My car starts and runs well when cold and rpm about 750. Drive it 1/2 hour, shut it down and start after 1/2 hour and it's a different car. Low rpm 500- almost stalls at lights and backfires when I jump on it. I checked the archives and came up empty. Possible vacuum leak or what? Thanks. Plugs changed in 2007 and not since, but only about 5k since then.

Jerry, check thread about 4 pages back on similar issues with 396 BB - some of the advise will be applicable. First guess is float issue, or other carb problem
