If you have any desire to have the car judged, then you can buy a junk 327 block with the right casting number and cast date, build it up to look as original.
Hell......you can even dummy-up your engine block to look as original, too. All you need is some Epoxy and some iron filings.
Otherwise, much easier and cheaper to buy a crate engine and drive-on. With a full warranty.
