I am looking for the correct mounting hardware for the headlight bucket switch under the cluster. self tapping screws? with j-nuts? what are the screw heads and finish? Thanks Ed

I think they are 1/4" self-tapping screws into single-thread u-nuts. Here's the screw head:

Looks like a zinc plating with black chromate finish. Might be black oxide, but doubtful.Mike

I also want to add that the switch shown in Mike's picture is not installed correctly as the lip on each side of the switch goes up inside the cluster not under. The only thing visible from under is the switch housing not the screw flange.- Top
