54 transmission question

Taking into consideration of the venting problems, would an air tight stopper at the top of the dip stick prevent the converter from bleeding back over longer storage times. If the air cant be displaced by fluid, you wold think there is no place for the fluid to go or would it be swapped with air in the converter? or........Im peeing in the wind thinking this. Thanks again!!
