70 coupe winshield upper frame

does anybody have a donor upper windshield frame for a 70 coupe they would want to sell? i need the complete top and down about 6 inches on the a-pillars...thanks jim

I replaced my 70's in the late 87-88 with a new one from GM which I am pretty sure is not available. I believe there is a company that makes this part and have seen it mentioned on this board.

Look below this post and click on windshield frame uh oh :-( and you will find all the information you will need to get manufactured parts for your 1970.

I've found a place in California that sells used frames no rust or new replacements but at 950 dollars for a used one think I will continue to look

Try CSC Reproductions of Rocky River, OH or Caledonia Classic Cars of Belding, MI (these are old addresses and they may have moved by now but a Google search should turn up current contact info). These companies manufacture reproduction "birdcage" components as well as other fabricated steel components for Corvettes.
