    Judging tools - Plastic mirror....

Does anyone have a source for acquiring a "plastic" mirror for use in judging......? I've broken a couple of the glass mirrors and have finally given up on them...... The plastic mirrors that I've seen are about 5" to 6" in diameter and do not have a frame or moulding around the edge.....they appear to be quite durable.....Thanks!Garry Eastwood#38705

Borrow your wife's mirror from her purse or buy one at Walmart.

Put your mirror where the sun don't shine..along with the Camera and Microscopes. and hard copy printers....The General never used them.

        Garry,
I purchase plastic mirror in sheets (scrap) at a local plastic manufacturer of window well covers/ other plastic parts. Cost was $5 for an 18 inch square. I just cut what I need from that. The sheets come in various thicknesses. There should be a similar supply house near you.

When cutting your own stuff, use a fine tooth saw.

You can find them with the camping supplies at Walmart.

I have a small mirror I still use today in the garage. I was my youngest daughter's from her barbie dolls when she was little. The plastic handle broke off but it's still good to use. Reuse and recycle........
