Parts at Carlisle

Where or who at Carlisle might have the infamous 859alternator for my 69 restore and a rear back up light switch with the proper color wires. There are many vendors their , just trying to narrow the search.Thanks Roger

Ken Bruno is usually there. In fact that's where I got my 833 alternator. Ken knew that my L36 would require a different pulley so he took it back to his shop swapped the pulley and added the correct broadcast code ink stamp and sent it to my house.

Roger, I believe the John Pirkle Jr.goes to carlisle. I would contact either Floyds connection or Pirkle and see if they will bring the alternator you need.

Hi Roger,
The parts supplier named Smart Parts brings a large amount of reproduction parts to Carlisle and may well have the switch. You might call them and also Keen Parts in advance to see if they have what you're looking for and will bring it along.

Several of the repro vendors also offer free delivery of orders to Carlisle (if they have the part in stock). There is always at least one of the Lectric Limited retailers at Carlisle. Ed's advise to call Pirkle or Bruno and see if they have an 859 with a date code appropriate for your car is a good idea.

Thank you gentleman for all the leads. John Pirkle is bringing me my starter but does not have an 859 alt. Alan I will check with Smart parts & Keen for the switch and Ken Bruno slot A46 Perfect thank you all.

I searched all over off and on for a few years for an alternator for my 71 LS5 with no luck (or the ones I found were $$$$). Ken Bruno had one at Carlisle a couple years ago, reasonable price too.....
