Re: Denver convention rooms sold out?
I'm showing my age here, but at one time (I'm sure Terry remembers), the hotel would not book a room until one had registered for the convention and had a code number from Cincinnati. There were many folks booking rooms just in case they went and then releasing them a month or so before the convention began when plans changed. And that was when attendance was not as high as it is now because we only judged 1953-72.
As for Hampton: Remember the entire hotel selling out in one day when it was posted here that reservations were being accepted?
