    1962 Frame repair

Hi there I have to replace the rear of a 1962 Corvette frame. I like to restyle the sector from the Body Mount to the rear cross member. The arch over the rear axle are the hardest part of the Frame to restyle. So I prefer to use a FlowwaterJet to cut the parts. I hope someone can help, or have an idea where I can get a software file that already exist to do this job. We have a Autocut program that use DXF files. Thank you for your help BERNDT - Berlin Germany

    Berndt,

Vette Products of Michigan manufacturers frame parts from the original blueprints.

What is it that you want to end up with? Are you going for a more modern rear end such as a 4 link and coil overs? No disrespect to this forum but if you are looking for people who modify their Corvettes you might want to try the " Corvette Forum" You could also check with the vendors that make replacement suspensions for early Corvettes. Morrison, Fat Man Fabrications, Newman Car Creations, Martz Chassis to name just a few

I guess I was confused when you said you wanted to restyle the frame. If you want to use stock parts then Gary's suggestion is the best. If they don' have what you need, I'm sure they can send you in the right direction.
