Hello, do a little summer refreshing working on a 57. I have checked guides.and there is no mention to the finish for the slotted panhead screws for the tail light lens. any advise on this ?

Jerry, you'll find your answer in the 5th edition 56-7 JM bolt chart.

Thanks Gary for your responce. My original question is the finish on tail light screws. The judging guide states on page 35 'Pan head sloted screws' and the tech manual page 104.bolt chart. states "Slot pan head." Neither one of these source manuals mentions the finish. ei chrome stainless zink cad etc- Top

I looked in the new 57 judging manual and no finish specified.
I also checked the AIM and they do not show a part number for the screws.
I believe mine are cad plated, but not necessarily correct.- Top

Jerry, All of the low mileage origional cars I have seen were Chrome Plated slotted pan head screws, the so called "NOS" parts dept tailights came through with Chrome Plated Phillips screws. This has caused lots of confusion over the years. Barry Holmes- Top
