    B-28 Vacuum Advance control availability

I noticed in several different posts that the B-28 VAC was discontinued by NAPA and other vendors. If you live in an area where you have an Autozone store then your'e in luck if you still need one. Their "Duralast" DV-1810 VAC is still available through Autozone for about $12.00.

...never heard of that "brand", but no doubt it's a Standard Motor Products manufactured B28 just like what's inside any other brand box.

      Duralast is AutoZone's house brand.

Eddie, I see a ton of posts on the DB here about B28 vacuum advances. I assume all of you are asking because you are not having your car judged.
There is an acurate reproduction available in limited quantites out there. Looks dead nuts and works perfect. It's a 236-16.
Rock Auto sells a B28 for peanuts. Look at old posts here.
They are all made by Standard. I believe they are being made in Mexico now but I could be wrong. The Standard distributor parts now are being made there. Caps, rotors, etc. So I am just guessing on the VA. John

The VAC is worth a total of 3 judging points - 2 for originality and 1 for condition.
