    Paint judging

If a car gets a full paint deduction - how is a component then judged for its paint. Example, a car that took the hit on paint (like that nice blue 66 with the stripe) how would its gas tank be judged on its paint? If a repainted red car has a black totally original pristine gas lid how would that go down?
    Just wondering

    Re: Paint judging

When judging the gas fill lid one judges the finish of the underside as well as CDCI of the entire cap. The finish of the exterior is judged with the paint.

The car took a full deduction on paint not on color. If I were judging the car I would take a 20% deduction on the F portion of CDCIF.
