    would you repaint and relabel this A6 compressor

    had a local shop rebuild dads 67 A6 compressor. the shop cleaned up the out side. the original label and "OK" stamp are nice for the age. this is going on restored a 67 L36 auto car. how well does the label judge that LIC sells along with the stamp.

          Keith, I am with Tim, sometimes the labels are not exactly as the factory labels and the typing font differs, Tape the label off and clean and repaint around it. This how I re did my 72 compressor.
          New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.

              Leave it alone. Looks great for the age. You will take a 1 point condition deduct for aging. So be it

                  I figured it would be a wash. Either lose a point for age or lose a point for repro label And I know we all like original parts
