67 Corvette Manual Steering Center Drag Link Cotter Pin Orientation

    Hi:
I can't seem to find my picture of my manual steering drag link before I took it apart. I am rebuilding it, and have reinstalled the threaded end cap that holds the ball and sockets and springs. I am ready to install the cotter pin that holds it from rotating. Is the cotter pin installed from the top (threaded ball stud side) or the bottom?
Does anyone have a picture showing orientation of this? Thanks so much!

    Tom,
I don't think it makes any difference. But I always install the pin from the top just because I like it that way.
