    1963 Trip Odometer

Even with a new reset cable the numbers are difficult to reset even with out the required bend in the cable when it is installed in the car. I am working with this on the bench so is it possible to lube the number assembly?
    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Jeff,

It would be a better idea to replace the numbers with new ones. Problem is the new ones are not exactly correct BUT they do spin freely.
I use silicone spray on originals but sometimes it advances the flaking off of the numbers.
