For me, personally, that is WAY inexpensive for the wealth of knowledge i gain from this site on almost a daily basis.

        Re: renewal notice

I got an E-mail notice which precedes my birthday by about a month. It said I would get a follow up notice in the mail. Being an old stuck in the mud guy, I prefer to do things by check and the U.S. Mail rather than on line. Believe it or not, I think now days it's safer. I lost two computers this year to hackers. No more Microsoft Windows or AOL for me. I'm learning Apple now.

Just moments after my previous post, low and behold my notice came in the mail. Guess I'll stick it out at least one more year, but I'm not too sure about our Chapter what with the winter meet moving to the boonies. We'll see.

              Re: renewal notice

I'm sure at some point in my life wasted way more than $45.00 on something frivolous that I most likely did not need. At least there's potential for me to learn something I did not know or at worst irritate someone trying to make a point.....

              It's all good...........next!

when i joined NCRS on may 13 1974, dues were $8. i googled the value of $8 in 1974 and what that would be today. mr google calculated it to be $40 and some change. when one compares what a member got in 1974 to what we get today, we're paying a mere $4.00 more but getting a hell of a lot more to boot. mike

Hell, I got carb leak problems and spent over 80 bucks on 8 gallons of race fuel to try to solve the problem. 45 bucks for the fun, knowledge, sport and SUPER friends I have made on here is well well well worth it. ARA. Jeez, half my bridal party was NCRS guys.....I will leave names out so as to not embarrass them.....LOL...>ARA

I figure the membership cost is zero. Have you weighed the Restorer & Driveline package ? I'll bet it costs the $45 in postage alone.

I personally do not understand ANY Corvette person thinking it is too expensive for what you get. But that is just me. Don H.
